We build gear to last a lifetime, but we've been diving long enough to know that you'll eventually forget to latch your light before jumping in the water. Or your dive buddy will accidentally drop his double 104s on your wings while you are breaking down your gear. Unfortunately, it always seems to happen the week before you are to catch the flight to Palau for the dive of a lifetime. In other words, you want your gear fixed and back in the water as quickly as possible. Shipping your broken part half way around the world for repair isn't always an option.
